What is the What’s Next Weekend?
Embark on a transformative work-focused journey with our intimate two-day workshop in New York City accompanied by follow-ups for collective support and accountability.
Through the weekend, you will enjoy undistracted, purposefully curated moments for reflection, brainstorming, and planning your path ahead as pertains to your career. These moments will include both individual and group sessions (think post-its, not trust falls) in an environment where you can map out your next steps and connect with a supportive community of facilitators and fellow participants.
After the weekend, this cohort will continue to meet virtually for three sessions, offering ongoing accountability, support, and regular check-ins to empower you to take action for what’s next on your path.

Outcomes
Walk away from the weekend feeling lighter, relieved, and no longer overwhelmed and alone in your work journey. You’ll become unstuck and less afraid, experiencing a positive shake-up that allows you to see the bigger picture of your self-worth and desires, all while merging your ambitions with practical next steps.
You'll experience a sense of empowerment and support that goes beyond simply taking the next "logical" step in your work journey. You'll also develop a broader perspective on your abilities and potential, guided by structured frameworks and a welcoming community that will continue to be there for you long after the retreat is over.

Who We Are
Sara and Sam have both been in New York City since their 20s and their lives have intersected in strange ways over the last 15 years (i.e., they attended the same rooftop parties but didn’t meet; Sam attended a Creative Mornings event when Sara gave a talk, but didn’t introduce herself). After many chance happenings, as is the wonder of New York, they eventually met and hit it off.
They had jobs and experiences that brought a lot of expansion but also a deep awareness of the need for thoughtful reprioritization in their lives. Last year, they both left their jobs and officially decided (at the gentle nudging of a mutual friend) to ensure their next phase would involve working together. They share a lot of philosophies and they bring very different lenses and paths to them. Central to their shared ethos are values such as community, the idea of plentitude, and creating intentional spaces.
Their passion lies in unlocking the inherent self-worth within every individual and empowering them to embrace their formidable potential.

What Previous Attendees Say
-
“An opportunity to get outside your own head and develop a community where you can work through things where you don’t have to have all the answers. It was a chance to do something for myself in a space/group that was all my own and not through work or home life.”
-
“The experience gave me space to think through my job change, bounce ideas off others in the cohort and get support and encouragement.”
-
“[What’s Next] has given me a kick in the butt… I know I’m a capable person but perfection has prevented me from actually going for the things I want.”
-
“I knew the whole thing would be helpful for me but I don’t think I realized just how much I needed a group that was sort of a blank slate.”
-
“It gave me the energy to jumpstart this transition and allowed me to put things in perspective.”
-
“It's challenged the way I think my career path ‘should be’ and it's pushing me to reach out to people I've encountered who may be able to help me. I'm no longer so attached to the idea that I have to work in a certain setting to be happy or achieve my goals.”
-
“The experience gave me space to think through my job change, bounce ideas off others in the cohort and get support and encouragement.”
-
“It created a third mental and emotional space I really needed. In having all these conversations with new people it helped me self-reflect in a new and very useful way.”
-
“It was an opportunity to step outside of the frenetic thought process around change. To slow it down and transform it into contemplative and proactive space with a group of people who will see and support you in ways that we all need but don't often get.”
